English Australia, in partnership with The Demographer’s Workshop, has developed a valuable report providing first-ever insights into the economic impact of cost-of-living spending by international students in Australia’s federal electorates.
The research shows that, aside from the billions of dollars in tutition payments, international students spent $13.75 billion in 2023 on shopping and services across 150 federal electorates.
