The latest edition of The PIE Insider’s Digest features an exclusive interview with Phil Honeywood, CEO of the International Education Association of Australia, in which he discusses the increasing importance of personal brand for leaders in the international education sector.
The report also contains a list of 50 voices either domiciled or operating in Australia or the wider ASEAN sector that The PIE think offer an interesting commentary on the international education ecosystem, including English Australia’s very own CEO, Brett Blacker.
The list includes a range of experienced leaders, rising stars, disrupters and policy makers who have something to say. The report is part of an increased focus on the region which was further explored at The PIE Live Australia conference that took place on the Gold Coast in July.

Blacker has also recently returned from The PIE Live event on the Gold Coast, 24-25 July 2023, where he presented on a panel session ‘Building Back Better’, which involved discussions around what ‘better’ means and if are on the right track after the pandemic.
