Ed-Tech SIG Online Symposium

Join us for this inaugural event hosted by the English Australia Ed-Tech SIG on 22-23 July. With an exciting program, including international and local plenary speakers and ‘Power Talks’ on practical tools for teaching with technology, this event will enhance your skills and knowledge in educational technology.
Registration is free for people who are employed, or recently employed (within the past year), at an English Australia member college and you can register for individual days or both days.

Have you completed a professional development activity with English Australia recently? Did you know you can download your statement of attendance directly from our website?
Additionally, to help you keep on top of entries to your CPD portfolio, we have already updated your ‘ELTAR’ CPD Record in your Member Centre section of the English Australia website with activities you have completed with us.

Enhancing engagement in discussion forums

Want to spark lively discussions among class members in your class discussion forums? English language teachers are using a variety of methods on discussion boards to foster student engagement and steer conversations to become more interactive. This has helped teachers and students to connect more in their online environments.
